Are your videos targeted for a specific industry?
Are there prerequisites for your training programs?
Not at this time. We are considering prerequisites as part of our certification process.
Are your videos available in foreign languages?
Currently, they are available only in English, but with the explosion in computer-generated translation, if there is a demand for this, it will be something we will definitely implement.
Should the courses be watched in a specific order?
Learning pathways have been developed based on levels of expertise. However, many people use the courses as a quick reference, going straight to the course or lesson that has the information they are looking for.
Subscriptions
How many people can use a subscription for one seat?
One. Our pricing model is based on a named person and we identify them by their email address.
Of course multiple people can sign on with a shared email address, but you would lose the individual tracking of a student’s progression through various courses and lessons.
Can I download the videos?
No. There is really no need for this now, given the current state of the video streaming, bandwidth availability, and vast use of online training. Additionally, it makes control of configuration management, updates, and changes to the content much easier.
Is it possible to receive a price reduction for very small businesses, educational institutions, or non-profit organizations?
Yes! We have special pricing for these organizations. Please contact us to discuss a plan that will work for your organization.
How many people can use a single subscription?
Since we use a site subscription model, not a per-person subscription model, everyone at your site can be given access to the subscription. The price of your subscription depends on the number of employees there.
Am I able to cancel my subscription? Will I be able to receive a refund?
Yes, you may obtain a refund within 30 days of purchase.
Customization
Can we have our own private “portal” on your website, with our company’s branding?
Yes, this is possible. Additionally, we can also import our courseware into your learning management system (LMS). Contact us to discuss the options.
Is in-person consulting available to support and expand on the video training?
Absolutely. We are part of the Coordinate Metrology Society, and they have several excellent consulting firms that are part of their membership. Contact us for referrals.
Can you customize your videos for our organization or create custom videos just for us?
Yes and yes. For some organizations this is an ideal training solution. We use your employees, your branding, your facilities, your projects. Please contact us to discuss options.
Orders
How long will it take for my online training to be available?
For online streaming videos paid by credit care, access is immediate.
For online streaming videos paid by purchase order, access is granted when we receive the PO.
Is it possible to purchase a subscription using a purchase order?
Yes. We make it easy.
Technical
What are the system requirements to view our videos?
One of the great things about modern computer technology is most computers can play video without the pausing/stuttering/headaches of years past. That said, your internet connection is going to play the biggest role in the quality of viewing at KAIZEN™ Online.
Our videos are delivered to automatically reduce image quality when there is not enough bandwidth to deliver the top HD video quality.
Is your courseware SCORM compliant?
SCORM (Sharable Content Object Reference Model) is a is a set of technical standards for online learning. It allows eLearning content to be compatible and shareable across different Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other course authoring tools. Essentially, it acts as a standard “wrapper” that enables content to be easily imported, launched, and tracked by various LMS platforms
